Shipley & Halmos Plain-toe two-eye Chukka

So it's quite obvious that everyone is doing a chukka boot for men nowadays.  While I've always liked the style, I would occasionally see one and get that 'Goldilocks' syndrome that many men get when deciding what to buy.  "It's too short, too tall, too much lacing, not enough comfort!"  Well the Plain toe chukka from Shipley & Halmos in this somber shade of pink is 'just right' in my opinion.  After trying this shoe on recently at Barney's, I can honestly say that the toe box is pretty dead on perfect (not too pointy, not too round) and the pink is a feasible muted tone while still remaining quite masculine.  While the shoe also comes in a sort of amber curry color, the pink two-eye chukka has surely got my two eyes locked on it.
