Shoe of the Day | Plomo Agatha Platform Shoes

I just love it when I come across new shoe designers, especially when they collection suits my personality to a T. I literally just learned about Plomo Shoes, a company created by two friends who, like Dave and I, happen to be shoe lovers (one lives right here in NYC and the other lives in Mexico City). Upon laying my eyes on the above Plomo Agatha Platform Sandal, I sighed at its beauty and made a mental note of how many things it matches in my closet. These strappy, cut-out, open-toe 6" with a 1.75" platform heel features an adjustable brass buckle ankle strap, two tone leather upper with tonal stitching and a contrast color vamp that looks like armor - this gives this style the look of a gladiator platform (works for me).

The Agatha is from Plomo's Spring 2012 Collection, and also comes in a beautiful pastel peach with a two-toned heel. Their spring collection was inspired by the one of the designers' trip to the French riviera and the Southern Italian Coast and the collection features many elements from this trip. Now that this brand is on my radar, I will be keeping up with their designs if they continue to churn out fab shoes like the above. I'm happy to introduce them to you guys.
