Shoe of the Day | Iris van Herpen × United Nude Voltage Haute Chaussure

For the seventh season, United Nude and Iris Van Herpen joined forces to create another shoe for her Haute Couture show in Paris. Ladies, say hello to the Iris van Herpen X UN Voltage Haute Chaussure. The handcrafted leather ankle booties were made for Van Herpen’s Voltage collection and was inspired by "light and electricity’s ability to change states and bodies, the reaction of how chemistry and electricity causes structures to respond to their environment and react as living beings and the the idea of 3D printing and movement".

Seen above in crisp white and glossy black, the extraordinary boot features both overlapping and raised leather strips, an approximate 5" banana heel with 2" platform, electrified looking vamp and heel design details which is replicated on the soles and a curved-up rounded toe. All giving the illusion that the shoe's leather "hair" is standing on end and makes them look amazingly bad ass. So what do you think of these statement boots ladies? Your thoughts are required.
