Welcome to October, the month where we highlight and celebrate all those who raise awareness, money, and give back in the fight to find a cure for Breast Cancer. That's right, it is officially Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we're here to highlight two footwear brands giving back to the cause. While many brands donate a portion of the sales towards BCA (a very admirable thing to do), the two footwear brands we're highlighting, AVRE and M.Gemi, are donating 100% of proceeds from their specially made BCA footwear styles to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Let get to know these amazing footwear brands:

AVRE

Looking for a shoe you can travel and move with your everyday lifestyle? Look no further than the AVRE Momentum Shoe in Fuchsia, $125.00. These durable, breathable, and lightweight sneakers feature an adaptive stretch fit formed by our eco-friendly knit material. It features adjustable hidden laces and a seamless, high elastic band offer extra flexibility and a customizable fit to keep you moving forward every day. AVRE will donate 100% of proceeds from every Fuchsia Momentum sold to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and their efforts to help women now through early detection, education and support services.

M.Gemi

This best-selling boot from M.Gemi, in soft tumbled nubuck, is a favorite for the outdoors. The handmade Italian M.Gemi The Alpi Due boot is fully lined with a leather lining and genuine shearling at the collar for extra softness and warmth. It boasts decorative metal hardware in matte silver that makes it easy to loop through and lace up. It features a full rubber sole with mudguard and a lug sole for traction. M.Gemi will donate 100% of proceeds from purchase of the limited edition pink Alpi Due boot to the National Breast Cancer Foundation throughout the month of October.

We hope you join us in celebrating these two footwear brands and help them support BCA by supporting them.

The search for the cure is an ongoing process, which is why several brands don't wait until October to get involved. New to the list of wonderful BCRF products and brands you can purchase year round is ISlide Sandals. You may be familiar with what's been deemed the "most comfortable slides", as seen on the feet of some of your favorite celebrities and athletes including Chris Brown, Dwayne Wade, Lebron James, and Justin Bieber. Starting this year, they're partnering with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) to help eradicate breast cancer. ISlide has developed a special line of their custom-printed sandals, donating 40% of the purchase price of each sale to the BCRF.

For this very special line of impactful sandals, the industry leader in premium, custom sandals offers 10 custom BCRF slides for both men and women in pink, black, grey, and white. The licensed pink ribbon ISlides bear some wonderfully emboldened messages, such as "I Support BCRF", "Strength", "Survivor", "I Stand For________", "Hope", "Real Men Wear Pink", and "Hope is the New Pink".

Each BCRF ISlide retails for $49.99 and as previously stated, is available all year round with 40% from each sale going to the BCRF and the continued fight against Breast Cancer.

With ISlide, you can create your own design on high-quality athletic sandals. Their innovative slides celebrates individuality and self-expression. Founded in 2013 by Justin Kittredge, a 19-year footwear industry veteran, ISlide has amassed over 50 licenses and more than a dozen partnerships, adding BCRF to their growing partnership list.

Pink is my favorite color for many reasons, one of which is I get to show my support for a great cause year 'round, plus it's just so pretty. As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, what better time than to highlight the way my favorite hue is making a change. ASICS introduces the limited edition ASICS GT-1000 3 PR for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For ever pair of these striking running shoes that sells, ASICS will donate $10.00 to Christina Applegate's Right Action for Women, a charitable program of the New Venture Fund, to help provide screening assistance to women who are at increased risk for breast cancer.

I especially love the ASICS GT-1000 3 PR's multiple use of the bold pink camo print, it's rearfoot and forefoot gel cushioning systems, SpEVA® midsole material, DuoMax® support system, guidance trusstic system, impact guidance system, and a guidance line all to make your running experience a better one.
