Converse X JW Anderson Chuck 70 Hi-Top

A little askew can be very refreshing.  The ongoing collaboration between Converse and designer JW Anderson is given an interesting low-key pop here with this Chuck 70 Hi-Top.  The upper is a subdued olive felt even down to covering of the midsole and sole.  The details like the tight topstitching, the JWA side heel branding and the slight color variance for the midsole and sole make this sneaker up to be an understated winner.  Available now at KithNYC.com.

Converse Black Gore-Tex© Edition Chuck Taylor All-Star 70 Hi Sneaker

Since it's almost winter then why should your classics become season-ready as well?  The Chuck Taylor All-Star Hi Sneaker has gotten trick out for the Fall/Winter with the Black Gore-Tex© Edition.  The upper is a crisp black canvas made with Gore-Tex© and also features tonal webbing trim, rubber sole and striping detail on the heel.  Also, in case you forget how tricked out the upper is, they've printed the rear vamp with a half branding and outer Gore-Tex© label.  What can't you pair Converse Chuck Taylor's with, including now, the Fall/Winter weather.  Available now at Ssense.com.

Converse JW Anderson Chuck Taylor 70 Hi Grid Sneaker

I covered the first drop of this sneaker in white back in March, but a cool pair of kicks deserves an updated mention.  Here is JW Anderson's collaborative efforts on the Converse Chuck Taylor 70 Hi Grid Sneaker again in a black color way.  In cheeky JW Anderson style, the designer works his name as art onto the entire hi-top upper that is then anchored onto the thicker 1970s model Chuck Taylor rubber midsole.  The overall graphic effect is a cool balance of black and white even if you're not so much into branding; but then again why wouldn't you be when it's in the hands of JW?  Available now in black and also red with a restock of the white as well at KicksHawaii.com.
