Perhaps you wait until the 4th to be patriotic or perhaps flags aren't your thing.  However, you have to admit that these Grid Logo Chuck 70 Hi Archive Print Sneakers from Converse's on-going collaboration with JW Anderson are mismatched coolness.  In stars and stripes fashion, the upper of this iconic American sneaker is bedecked in the American flat print with stripes on one foot and stars on the other.  The printing is laid over another print featuring the cheeky designer's name in a grid pattern.  The effect is both American and avant and is available now at Ssense.com.

A little askew can be very refreshing.  The ongoing collaboration between Converse and designer JW Anderson is given an interesting low-key pop here with this Chuck 70 Hi-Top.  The upper is a subdued olive felt even down to covering of the midsole and sole.  The details like the tight topstitching, the JWA side heel branding and the slight color variance for the midsole and sole make this sneaker up to be an understated winner.  Available now at KithNYC.com.
