We're both excited and anxious about sandal season. Shoe lovers and fashionistas proved that no storm can deny them the opportunity to help Tumblr celebrate it's 10-YR Anniversary. Braving the freezing cold and journey out of the city, attendees swarmed to Tumblr's opulent dance party, sponsored by Melissa Shoes and Stoli Vodka, at National Sawdust, the artist-led, non-profit venue in Brooklyn, during NYFW to celebrate their 10th anniversary.


Along with great music, guest were treated to yummy hors d'oeuvres, a never-ending supply of delicious Stoli Blueberi Vodka cocktails to keep us warm, and some cute Stoli Vodka swag


While we certainly enjoy all of the above, we were most certainly there for the shoes. Tumblr’s Head of Culture Content, Valentine Uhovski, briefly took the stage in between DJ sets to talk about Tumblr’s trademark artist and blogger program, with almost 100 of Tumblr’s NYFW alumni past and present in the crowd. Slightly lower, chunky heels are so in right now...on every shoe style. We decided to follow up yesterday's cool sneaker highlight with another.
