It's finally spring and most of the shoes on our wishlist are finally available, god help our bank account. It should come as no surprise that several styles from the Clarks Spring/Summer 2016 Collection are on that list, as their offerings range from the hot menswear-inspired trend, sporty footwear styles, classic styles inspired by the 1960's, cool sandal and wedge silhouettes with modern updates, and shoes that effortlessly blend functionality and fun.

The Clarks Spring/Summer 2016 Collection boasted several specialized footwear selections. Along with the classic and Originals collection, Clarks also offers the Clarks X Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Clarks X Christopher Raeburn capsule collections. But let's begin with the styles from the main collection.

Patent, and unlined leathers in lace-up styles, and golf shoes are available in soft pastels, like buttery creams, nudes, and café au lait for a sweet and tomboy style. We especially loved the standout details, whether they be a perforated vamp, kilting, T-bars, cut-outs, or our favorite detail, the geometric laser etching.

Clarks also has you ready for the sun in chic designs, available in traditional hues, bold brights, and sparkly neutrals with many bearing eye-catching embellishments, and razor cut soles. Wedges shine in glossy patent, metallic leathers, perforated uppers, and cork wrapped and rubber soles.

The very cool athleisure trend is a must for the season and Clarks offers several styles that will have you fit right in. Sporty styles feature a high-tech palette of white, silver and pops of color, tumbled leather and feather-light mesh, aerodynamic soles and sports-luxe details, and their Flex 3 technology that give the footwear styles a lighter than air feel.

Moving on to the capsule collections, Clarks partnered with London's Victoria and Albert Museum to bring forth a collection that highlights the 1960s. The groovy capsule collection boasts updated 60s looks, patterns and prints. Flatter heels, Mary Janes, and sling-back pumps. Collection details include an eye-catching Willian Morris imbued print (shown below), square toes, block heels, glossy patent leather, and oversized kilting.

The Clarks X Christopher Raeburn collection was inspired by the indigenous tribes and jungles of Borneo, and includes utilitarian boots with recycled soles, elegant, cork-strapped sandals and sophisticated trainers in leather and high-tech mesh, effortlessly combining functionality, fun and a trailblazing design aesthetic.

Last but certainly not least, Clarks Originals. From the desert Boot, to the Wallabees and sandals with an originals twist, the Clarks Originals collection for spring/summer doesn't disappoint. Favorite styles include the iconic Clarks Originals Desert Boot with cut-outs and removable kilting, and a sneaker-moccasin hybrid with a separated Vibram sole (pictured below).

There you have it, these are the wonderful offerings from the Clarks Spring/Summer 2016 Collection, all of which should be available now. Check out our slideshow for a few more looks from the collection.
