Shoe of the Day | Chaco X National Park Foundation ZX/2 NPF Pride Sandals
As you're probably well aware, June is Pride Month, honoring the Stonewall Inn uprising and celebrating Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride. While the Stonewall uprising happened over 40 years ago, a Stonewall National Monument was only opened last year on June 24th, 2016. In honor of the first anniversary of the 7.7-acre U.S. National Monument, located in the West Village, Chaco Footwear and the National Park Foundation partnered to bring you a limited-edition sandal collaboration. The Chaco X National Park Foundation ZX/2 NPF Pride Sandals is the classic Z/Sandals boasting a strap design inspired by the Stonewall National Monument. It features a made-in-the-USA construction, double-strapped polyester jacquard webbing upper wraps around the foot and through the midsole for a customized fit, toe loops for secure fit, adjustable and durable high-tensile webbing heel risers, injection-molded ladder lock buckle, a vegan-friendly LUVSEAT PU midsole, and non-marking Vibram Colorado outsole.
The limited edition sandals are available on www.chacos.com for $130.00 each, with 10% of sales from every pair going to the National Park Foundation to directly fund projects for the monument. What better way to celebrate pride than to help this great cause.
