Action with Some Avant: Reebok X Pyer Moss Daytona DMX Experiment Sneakers

Who said your functionality can't be funky?  Kerby Jean-Raymond is creating quite a voice for his label Pyer Moss from the insightful depth in awareness of his collections to this on-going collaboration with Reebok.  Here with the Daytona DMX Experiment Sneakers, it seems like the experiment went delightfully mad and turned out a cool sneaker with avant edges.  The upper is a mixture of rounded layers of perforated leather (or suede depending on the model) with asymmetrical pieced heel pulls, a hidden lace up closure, a press stud flap on the vamp and a chunky treaded molded rubber sole.  Flashes of both the Reebok and Pyer Moss branding are discreet and work harmoniously with the design to make this a tongue-n-cheek winner.  Available now in both color ways at Ssense.com.
