The resurgence of iconic and classic brands is a joy to behold. More and more we're seeing brands of old gain new life with the new generations. One footwear brand from our parents' time we're currently enjoying is Famolare Shoes. The iconic, sustainable footwear brand from the ‘70s is back! The women-owned footwear brand's legacy is one of sustainability and wellness. Created in the 1970's, Famolare Shoes reflected a new attitude of footwear - that a shoe should be comfortable aid to natural movement, not merely a fashion accessory.

Women who wore Famolares in the 70's and 80's shared an identity, supporting peace, pushing for civil rights and rallying to protect the environment. Now 50 years later, owner Victoria Staten is bringing back the brand that supports what you stand for and what you stand in! Famolare Shoes are handcrafted in North America, from mostly locally sourced components. They feature 100% leather uppers, which includes leather linings and a leather insole. This allows the shoes to conform to your feet and let your feet breathe.

With the invention of their first shoe, the innovative Get There flatform shoe, Famolare achieved a new aesthetic in casual fashion. The Get There also proved to be a radical innovation in functional footwear. It’s resilient four-wave sole acted as an extension of the foot, transferring the body’s weight from heel to arch and from the ball to the toes. The Get There absorbed the shock to the foot and rolled you forward with each step. The anatomically contoured inner-sole cradled the foot and provided hours of comfort even when walking at a brisk clip.

From the Get There, Famolare Shoes has added the Hi There, Go There, and Hi Up footwear styles in a wonderful variety of uppers.

Famolare’s Go There flat rubber soles boast a soft wave that helps reduce impact and a thick padded leather wrapped midsole makes these shoes feel comfy from the get go.

The Hi There serves as a mediator in aiding natural movement. The first wave of the Hi There platform rubber soles absorbs initial shock to the heel and ankle. The second wave cushions the arch, and the third wave rolls you forward. The padded footbed gives firm comfortable support.

Like the Hi There, the Hi Up wedge rubber soles' first wave absorbs initial shock to the heel and ankle. The second wave cushions the arch, and the third wave rolls you forward. The padded footbed gives firm comfortable support.

we can't wait to see what they do for Fall 2022. To get to know more about the amazing Famolare Shoes, visit www.famolare.com
