We had the pleasure of getting reacquainted with British Virgin Islands Footwear Designer, Stella Maze and her Stella Hues footwear line during NYFW, at her Bleu Valentine Pop-up event, a fashion take on "Alice and Wonderland", to introduce her Fall/Winter 2016 Footwear Collection. You may remember we previously highlighted the footwear designer on Shoeography with two gorgeous women's shoe styles. The 11-piece collection, which features the Stella Hues's trademarked bleu bottoms, boasted pointed toe ballet flats in vibrant fall tones, high-heeled booties and classic pumps in exotic leathers and boldly colored animal prints.


The collection fuses authentic Italian tradition with the exotic luxuries of the Virgin Islands and a nod to classic British influence. Inspired by the mystique, translucent blues of the Caribbean waters, each shoe is finished with patented hues of blue on the inner and outer sole, some with a solid blue and other in a beautiful ombre. Maze took special attention to catering to every type of woman, while never forgetting the echoing themes of opulence and leisure.


 The event was hosted by Fashion Expert, Dawn Del Russo, pictured above posing on the blue carpet with designer, Stella Maze, and again below, rocking an edgy pair of black Stella Hues Booties with bold hardware, who posed the question to attendees, "What makes you fall in love with a shoe?".
