We're totally seeing spots this #FootwearFriday, thanks to the collaboration between Onitsuka Tiger and a small, family owned Japanese textile house named Makumo. The two brands partnered together to create a very special capsule collection for Summer 2015. The result is the striking, low top, unisex Onitsuka Tiger X Makumo Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Sneaker (the capsule collection also features a matching tote bag, which we're personally dying for).

Makumo hand makes all of their incredibly exclusive prints, which are inspired by traditional Japanese culture, with much of their incredible work, craftsmanship and quality, created right out of their home. This collection debuts with the above iconic Mexico 66, available in two very limited edition colors, “Natto Sumi/White” (black/white), and “Natto Kurenai/White” (red/white), and features a unique pattern called Natto, inspired by the Japanese fermented bean (they can't help but remind us of Dalmations as well). Sorry to disappoint you men, but the red is only available in women's sizes......unless you have small feet and can fit a women's size 12.

The Makumo textile house utilizes the finest Japanese loomed canvas from Kurashiki to create their iconic prints, which gives this iconic classic a very eye-catching, modern update. The Onitsuka Tiger logo, along with the Makumo animal are printed on the sockliner, with the signature stripes appearing in a stark white, making the Natto print stand out even more.

Both colors retail for $100.00 each and are available on www.onitsukatiger.com. You may want to get yourself a pair before they are gone.
