Puma X Bradley Theodore Suede 50 Sneaker

With all the excitement for streetwear these days, it's still important to note that before there were lines around the corner for graphic tees and thousand dollar oversized hoodies, there was the 'make something out of nothing' voice of the street.  The realness, the unapologetic and of course those who will always covet it and want a piece what they haven't been privy to is what has driven streetwear as a wearable rebel yell of the youth and their culture.  It's with this on the brain that has led the iconic team at Puma, who has always served as a canvas for much of the political and cultural angst of creative youths, to team up with Bradley Theodore, the passionate artist whose painting style is inspired by intense mood, culture, the streets and it's energy.

The Puma X Bradley Theodore Suede 50 enters the scene as a vibrant sneaker that both celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Suede model and the characteristic verve of Theodore's expression.  The upper features abstract swaths of pink, blue and red printed onto a back of black suede.  The woven laces mirror the colors of the upper and the translucent outsole creates a neutral harmony to balance the cool movement of the upper which, as Theodore says, was inspired by the very act of painting itself.  Sealing the deal are details like the artist's signature on the lateral side of each sneaker in gold and a vibrant skull replacing the 'fastcat' branding at the heel of each shoe.

This collaborative Suede 50 sneaker which includes apparel is available now at select Puma retailers and at Puma.com.
