Shoe of the Day | Jack Daniel's X The Shoe Surgeon Sneakers

Today we're sharing a collaboration that's as American as Tennessee whiskey. Dominic “The Shoe Surgeon” Chambrone has joined forces with iconic whiskey brand, Jack Daniel’s to release their newest Jack-inspired sneaker, the Jack Daniel's X The Shoe Surgeon Sneakers.

Seven shoe concepts were put up for a fan vote online that included a mix of various styles of basketball sneakers inspired by the craftsmanship and elements that make Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey the iconic global brand it is, including: grain, Jack Daniel’s cave spring, the distillery, charcoal, the barrel, honey and the Jack Daniel’s iconic bottle.


The winning design, an exclusive pair of Jordan IV’s, is inspired by his visit to the Jack Daniel’s distillery and showcases the heart of Jack Daniel Distillery, the Cave Spring Hollow. The Jack Daniel's Cave Spring Hollow is the lifeblood of Jack Daniel's whiskey. A crisp, cool natural resource that remains at a constant 56-degrees. The cave’s layers of limestone naturally adds a variety of minerals and removes iron from the water. You can clearly see this highlighted in the sneaker's color scheme.

“Hearing the peaceful sound of the clear water flow inside the cave gave me instant inspiration”, said Chambrone. “We wanted to really capture those elements with the shoe by giving them a limestone slate which complements the water-like see through sole.”
