Reach for the SKYE: SKYE Footwear Launches the Ultimate Sneaker-Boots

In our multitasking lives, we are always on the lookout for items that go the extra mile, including our footwear. So when we heard about the new Sneaker-Boot hybrids from SKYE Footwear, of course we were intrigued. We love footwear that do double duty, especially when it comes to comfort and style. The new sneaker-boot hybrids come in two styles, the Stnley and the Pembrtn, each of which comes in two colors. The new shoes are ergonomically-engineered to support the whole body, not just the feet. They boast sculpted insole supports for the arch and heel, which relieve pressure points to provide all-day comfort. The shoes are easy to slide on and off with a convenient zipper closure system and no-tie lace design. In addition to providing comfort, the shoes bring an unmatched level of protection, engineered with military-grade Cordura. Strategically placed welded TPR provides a weather shield and supports high-wear areas. We mimicked the Japanese Dou method to weatherproof the new sneaker-boots, providing ultimate protection and durability. Additionally, a sawtooth outsole grip, inspired by Formula One tires, provides excellent traction in all types of weather, while the added mudguard protection prevents damage to the toe box.


The Pembrtn merges the slip-on sneaker style with boot functionality to keep feet warm, comfortable and prepared for any activity.


The Stnley style combines a traditional hiking boot appearance with the modern simplicity of sneakers to keep feet dry while taking on new adventures. We had the wonderful pleasure of rocking the Stnley in during the many days of monsoon levels of rain last week. Not only were they incredibly comfortable (each step we took felt like we were stepping on pillows), the lightweight Stnley fully supported our high arch, and snugly kept our ankle in place without feeling stiff or hurting.
